Planned in collaboration with WICS and Hack at UCI, VenusHacks is UCI's largest inclusive-centric hackathon and will take place both in-person and online!

Our mission is to empower underrepresented groups by providing an inclusive community to foster growth and creativitiy in computing. VenusHacks will be open to participants of all experience levels, as we aim to increase diversity in tech through support, exposure, and community. Join us as we welcome high school (18+), undergraduate, and graduate students to participate in our 26-hour event that includes networking, fun activities, educational workshops, and lots of coding!

• Best improvement of the Tech Field
  Projects that break down barriers to entry in tech, increase awareness of challenges faced by underrepresented communities, and foster stronger support systems. Focus on making the field more accessible, equal, and welcoming for all.
• Accessible, Equitable, & Inclusive Tech
  Projects that address gaps, biases, and accessibility challenges in existing tech or create new inclusive tools. Focus on building products and technology that better serve all users, regardless of background or ability.
• Technical and Creative Execution
  Evaluates the quality and ambition of project execution relative to its goals. Measures successful application of complex tools, functionality, design, and intentionality in the final result.
